    Active Apparatus

    The Sloatsburg Fire Department maintains a fleet of 7 fire apparatus including (2) pumpers, (1) heavy rescue, (2) brush trucks, (1) water rescue/dive truck and (1) personnel carrier.

    15-Quad

    15-Quad responds first due to all structural incidents including structure fires, automatic/telephone fire alarms, interior smoke conditions, oven fires, etc. Equipped with over 1,000 feet of attack fire hose and over 100 feet of ground ladders, the Quad is ideal for initial fire attack operations.

    15-1750

    15-1750 is Sloatsburg's "all-around" fire response apparatus. She responds second due to all structural and rescue incidents and first due to all car fires, hazardous materials calls and mutual aids. Equipped with a full compliment of fire and rescue equipment, the 1750 allows us to respond to a wide variety of emergency situations with only one apparatus.

    15-SR responds to all water rescue calls both within our district and to automatic mutual aid responses through Orange and Rockland Counties in New York and Bergen and Passaic Counties in New Jersey.

    15-MP was originally designed as a first due quick attack apparatus that would be the first to respond to any report of fire. As the fire service evolved, her true calling as an off-road brush truck was realized. The MP work in coordination with 15-ATV to assist us in extinguishing brush fires and responding to various emergencies in our vast wooded surroundings.

    15-ATV

    15-ATV is truly our "go anywhere, do anything" brush truck. Originally a US Army military vehicle used for transporting troops & equipment, the rugged construction and durability of the ATV makes her an ideal vehicle to respond to brush fires and emergencies in the many wooded areas surrounding Sloatsburg.

    Aquired from the Pearl River Fire District in 2011, 15-Patrol allows us to transport manpower to various functions both non-emergency and emergency without having to tie up an active piece of fire apparatus.
